Course Description

Rising 9th-12th graders

In this camp, we will explore all that WCU College of Engineering and Technology has to offer! Within this two-day camp, we will dive into lessons and hands-on activities related to: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Power and Clean Energy, Robotics and Automation, Electrical & Comp. Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, and Computer Science. Come learn the engineering design process and complete fun challenges! We will also prepare students on how to navigate college applications and decisions.

Notes

Lunch on Saturday will be provided at WCU’s Catamount Café (the main dining hall). The dining hall is an all-you-care-to-eat facility with plenty of options to choose from. Please plan to bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing.

Please note: This is NOT a residential camp. Overnight accommodations are not available at this time.
