Moral Injury: A Meaningful Exploration of Its Nature, Impact and Healing Approaches

Learning Objectives:

  • Define moral injury, using the current research
  • Identify populations impacted by moral injury
  • Understand the nuance between moral injury and moral distress
  • List methods to identify moral injury in clients
  • Understand the impacts of moral injury 
  • Describe the difference between PTSD and moral injury
  • Describe different approaches to healing moral injury

Continuing Education (CE) Information

Participants seeking Continuing Education credit will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Check-In and Check-Out:
    • Please sign in at the beginning of the event and sign out at the end (a QR code will be provided to in-person and online participants).
      1. Both steps are required to verify attendance and receive CE credit.
  2. Indicate Your CE Type:
    • During check-in, you will indicate which CE credit you need (e.g., LCSW, NCC, etc.).
  3. Complete the Post-Event Questionnaire:
    • After the presentation and questionnaire are completed, your CE certificate will be emailed to you.
