🎨 Magic Mondays!
Ages 10 through 18 (high school students)
Mondays, 4:45–6:30 PM
Led by WCU Art Education Majors

Join us for a hands-on journey through time and creativity! Magic Mondays is a vibrant after-school art program where students explore the rich traditions of Western art cultures—from ancient Mesopotamia to contemporary Pop Art. Each week, participants will delve into a new artistic era using exciting materials and middle-school+ level equipment.

Whether you're a budding artist or just love to create, Magic Mondays offers a fun and educational space to explore history through art. Come make something magical with us!

  • February 9 -Hand built Sgraffito Pottery (Greek Art)
  • February 16 - Portrait Painting (Roman Art)
  • February 23 - Architectural Drawing (Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque Art)
  • March 2 - Printmaking (18th/19th Century Europe Art)
  • March 16 - Abstract Sculpture (early 20th-century European Art)
  • March 30 - Comic Culture (Pop Art)
  • April 6 - Contemporary Art (Video Making/Claymation)
